Uniform Eccentric Element Load

Definition of an eccentric uniformly distributed line load along the element length.

Note: For detailed load explanation see also RM Bridge Load Types Library .
SettingDescription
From, To, Step Series of nodes to be loaded
Assembly Alternative to load assignment via element series: Name of the assembly to be loaded. The specified load is applied to every element of the specified assembly.
Qx, Qy, Qz Load intensity components in x, y, z directions
Global / Local Selection of the related direction system (global, local, or user default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L)). Beta: If Beta is selected, the program will consider the local Users default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L), without considering the elements angle β value, for load direction and eccentricities evaluation.
Ey, Ez Distance of the load application line from the connection line of the respective reference points (in the local coordinate system from element to load or in Users default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L)) if Beta is selected).
Local The reference line for the definition of the eccentricity is the element axis (connection of the centers of gravity at element begin and element end)
Local + Y Elem-Ecc. The reference line for the definition of the y-eccentricity is the system line (connection between start and end node of the element). The y-distance from the element axis to the system line is automatically added by the program. (The reference line for the z-eccentricity is still the element axis!)
Local + Z Elem-Ecc. The reference line for the definition of the z-eccentricity is the system line (connection between start and end node of the element). The z-distance from the element axis to the system line is automatically added by the program. (The reference line for the z-eccentricity is still the element axis!)
CS pnt The reference line for definition of the eccentricity is the cross-section point.
Real length / Projection Load intensities related to the real (clear) element lengths or to the length of the projection normal to the load direction
Load/Unit length Entered load intensities are defined as line loads (force per length unit).
Load mult. by CS width Entered intensity values are surface loads related to the cross-section width. The values are internally multiplied by the cross-section width (z1+z2).
Note: In this context Cross-section width defined in the unit [Length(Structure]!
Load mult. by CS depth Entered intensity values are surface loads related to the cross-section depth. The values are internally multiplied by the cross-section depth (y1+y2).
Note: In this context Cross-section depth defined in the unit [Length(Structure]!
Nodal Load Entered load intensities are defined as line loads and applied as  concentrated loads at the element begin and end without taking into consideration any rigid restraint moments
User Area (m, m)

Entered intensity values are surface loads related to the length defined by User in Dy and/or Dz distances. These distances are centered with elements XL axis and can be specified in the local directions or in Users default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L), if Beta is selected.

Note: In this context User Distance defined in the unit [Length(Structure)]!
